WAIVER AND INDEMNITY OF THE DIRECTORS, SPONSORS AND COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY
THAT FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF the desire of the UNDERSIGNED to participate in a fishing tournament to be
conducted by the Directors, the Undersigned specifically waives and relinquishes any and all claims for damages, injuries or loss of
every kind, character or description against the Directors, sponsors and Government Agencies, their successors or assigns, their
officers, agents or employees, arising out of any injury, damage or loss, either to the person or property of the undersigned using the
ramp and adjoining body of water during the fishing tournament.
The Undersigned further hereby indemnifies and agrees to hold harmless the Directors sponsors and Governmental Agencies, their
successors or assigns, their officers, agents or employees for any and all claims or actions of law by a persons, whomsoever, for
damages, injury or loss, of whatever nature arising with reference to the use, occupation of management of said ramp and adjoining
water, including, but not limited to, perils or navigation drifting, windstorm, or other acts of God and the elements.

DERBY TOURNAMENT RULES
1. Sportsmanship: All teams are expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, safety (respect idle zones), courtesy,
and conversation. Any team that violates these rules or any federal, state or local laws will be disqualified. Drunkenness by a
competitor during this function will not be tolerated and shall be cause for disqualification from this and all future events. No
drugs or alcohol are permitted during tournament or in the boat at anytime. The winners of the event may not have any
alcohol until after the polygraph.
2. Derby Toumament reserves the right to refuse any and tournament entry fees.
3. Anyone 18 or older is eligible to fish. Anyone under 18 must fish with a partner that is 18 or older.
4. You may not leave your boat during tournament hours except in the case of an emergency.
5. Any person failing a polygraph test in any Derby Tournament or any other tournament will be prohibited from fishing.
6. It is required to have liability insurance.
7. U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket must be worn while combustion engine is rurming.
8. Penalty of .25 pounds will be deducted for each dead fish weighed in. Lve fish will be determined by tournament officials.
Their decision is final.
9. Any fish appearing mutilated will be weighed at discretion of tournament official.
10. Polygraph test will be given.
11. Only Largemouth, smallmouth, spotted bass will be weighed.
12. Maximum number of fish per team is five.
13. An aerated live well is required.
14. A one-pound penalty will be assessed for short fish weighed in.
15. Must have checked in with check in boat by 3:00 pm- No Exceptions!!
16. All boats must be equipped with working kill switch.
17. All fish must measure the legal limit allowed at the lake where the tournament is being held - on golden rule - mouth closed,
tail fanned. (No Slot Fish).
18. The ramp the tournament goes out of at the river is off limits tournament days.
19. T oumament boats must be launched from the assigned ramp after having live well checked.
20. All boats must have live wells checked prior to launching boat. NO EXCEPTIONS.
21. Any protest must be brought to the attention of tournament director, with three witnesses prior to payback.
22. There will be no fishing allowed within 50 feet of another competitor that is anchored with trolling motor raised. In the event
of boats approaching each other on the same bank, boat with starboard (driver's) side toward bank has the right of way.
Sportsmanlike conduct should be observed.
23. In case of a tie, the competitors with the most eligible fish will be considered the winners. In case of two or more competitors
with the same number of fish with the same weight, the largest fish will be the tiebreaker.
